Retro meets progress. With the Taifun® GTR we rely on proven concepts and combine them with new aspects to meet the needs of the user. Despite its low height, the Taifun® GTR has a top fill system, liquid control and variable air flow control.

Behind the inconspicuous look of the Taifun® GTR there are some unusual solutions for well-known functions.

For the first time in a Taifun® evaporator, the TopCap completely dispenses with a thread. The new quick-release fastener is extremely robust and user-friendly. The tank can be opened and closed with just a slight twist without missing the slightest impression of high quality.

FUTURE-PROOF MATERIALS

With regard to DIN CENTS 17287, we have been looking for an alternative to the well-known transparent plastic tanks and glass, and we have been successful. For the first time, the Taifun® GTR is delivered with a plastic tank. The material used, polysulfone (PSU), is a transparent plastic that is one of the high-temperature-resistant, high-performance thermoplastics. In a temperature range of -100°C to 190°C, the tank is hard and its ignition temperature (by a flame) is almost 500°C. In addition, it has an extremely high chemical resistance to many aroma components. Please note the special information below about the Taifun® GTR.

INNOVATIVE AIRFLOW CONTROL

The Taifun® GTR has two separate air channels. In the basic version, the cross-sections of the channels are 1.0mm and 1.2mm. Via the locking ball-supported AFC, both channels can either be fully or half opened individually, or fully or half together.
The AFC ring of the Taifun® GTR has a stop in both directions. However, due to the intelligent arrangement of the air holes, there is no adjustment from small to large. The adjustment path is kept as short as possible and the outer opening is always only opened, halved or closed with a click to the right or left (depending on the selected air hole). In order to save height, the corrugated AFC ring is also used for assembly / disassembly of the evaporator.
The possibilities of the AFC allow a larger bandwidth in the restrictive steam range without much effort. Both lovers of the classic, very strict, MTL and proponents of the very restrictive DL vaping can adjust the air supply to their personal needs without having to accept compression losses under the coil.

NEXT GENERATION VARIABLE LIQUID CONTROL

The Taifun® GTR is designed for versatile use in the restrictive area. This reflects the new arrangement of the Liquidcontrol.
One user vapes thin liquids with less power and higher vacuum and the other more viscous liquids with more power and more air.
To meet these demands, a liquid control is required that can be adapted to the individual requirements of the user to a certain extent. Simply cranking it up is not enough for a satisfying vaping experience in the MTL and restrictive DL range.
The left liquid channel is optimized for 50/50 liquids with restrained performance and greater negative pressure in the chamber. Due to the narrower and higher riser channel, the chamber is not flooded even under the aforementioned conditions.
The right channel is suitable for 70/30+ liquids with increased performance due to its wider milling and lower rise height. If the train lasts longer, both channels can also be opened here. The Liquid Control is adjusted by turning the tank slightly and simply. 4 recesses for the accesses on both sides allow a very short rotation in the circumference, no matter where the beginning of the threads begins.

KEEP IT SIMPLE

The winding deck of the Taifun® GTR is the logical continuation of the "Taifun deck" introduced with the GT IV. The wire holders correspond to those of the Taifun® BTD with the improved noses for easier wire holders.
The 2-sided ventilation introduced with the Taifun® GT IV has also been adapted to the requirements of a thoroughbred restrictive atomizer. Both air ducts exit at a slight angle under the winding and allow the coil to be variably adjusted to the user's needs in terms of taste and "flash". In principle, "keep it simple" also applies to the Taifun® GTR. The deck does not require great winding skills or cotton laying techniques for an optimal vaping experience. Simply install the coil, pull the cotton through and put it in the bag. Complete.

Avoid extremely acidic liquids and flavors. These can possibly attack the PSU tank. Basically, it is not a question of taste, so menthol, cooling and many other well-known flavorings are not a problem. But especially with pure citrus aromas, it cannot be ruled out that these will attack the tank at some point. We advise against the use of nicotine salt liquids in the GTR. We cannot guarantee that these products will not damage the PSU tank. We expressly recommend the use of the optionally available glass tank.
