Taifun® Scarab Pro - The high-end battery carrier for demanding users - Powered by Taifun® patented Magneto Switch. Now new in the improved 2023 version!

The new Taifun® Skarabäus Pro has been visually revised and adapted to the Taifun vaporizers. The 23 mm Pro version has the ribbing to match Taifun® GTR, Taifun® GX and many other Taifun 23 mm atomizers. In addition, the electronics were installed horizontally, which gives the user the option of having their own scarab refined and individualized in a variety of ways. Furthermore, it is now a little shorter than its popular predecessor. From a purely technical perspective, of course, everything remains as usual. Please note that the cones and sleeves of the predecessors are not compatible with the new scarab.

This battery carrier is characterized by its relatively simple operation, which eliminates the usual disadvantages of a mechanical power button, as is usually found in an unregulated mechanical battery carrier. The relatively high on-resistance and increased wear on the button with larger currents are eliminated in our device. Through a patented in-house development of our magnetic-optical button, “Magneto” for short, we have succeeded in designing a button that is not subject to wear and that moisture cannot cause ANY damage. With a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty on the electronics.

Legends of Vape special editions

With the special editions of the Taifun® Skarabäus Pro we would like to pay tribute to very special people among the German manufacturers. First up are Michael Kopp, the creator of the legendary MK 1 battery mod, and Artur Schwarze, the mastermind of Flash-e-Vapor.

The MK variants, equivalent to the MK 1 battery carriers from Kopp Design at the time, are available in both a simple and a striking version. For the Artur version, the scarab was specially adapted to the Flash-e-Vapor. The cone at the transition is reduced to 22 mm and the battery cover has the knurling typical of the Flash-e-Vapor.

The special edition, as well as the shorter versions, may not be produced in stock, but can also be manufactured specifically on request. Please send inquiries via email to info@smokerstore.de and allow for a certain waiting time until delivery.

Wear-free magneto-optical button (patented light barrier technology)
Switch-off after 15 seconds of continuous “pressure” as security against unintentional operation. However, you can extend the duration of vaping by briefly interrupting it (less than 1s)!
To activate it again, the battery cover must be loosened and tightened again.
Electronic key lock for short-term deactivation of the button. If you leave it unattended, please remove the battery!
High-performance MosFet (power amplifier) with 0.001Ω switching resistance in operation!
Temperature sensor for the MosFet to protect the device during continuous operation at extreme currents.
Lo battery voltage signaling from 3.0V to 2.6V (shutdown).
Electronic overload protection of the MosFet (detection of possible overload, R winding << 0.1Ω).
Additional electronic control of the switching function of the MosFet for voltage drops when switched on, as well as for incorrect voltage when switched off on the evaporator.
Mechanical reverse polarity protection thanks to a new type of battery cap, which prevents immediate and permanent vaping in the event of reverse polarity!
